Obituary of Berker Boyer

Berker Charles Boyer, 83, of Mansfield Township, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Berker was born on January 10, 1928 in Washington, NJ. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Ella (nee Furman) Boyer. Berker was a graduate of Washington High School in 1946 and was an avid baseball player. He then worked at Seymour and Peck in Hampton NJ. In 1976, Berker owned and operated “Berk’s” Exterminating Service, Port Murray, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Bessie McDonald Boyer. He is also survived by three sons; Donald Dixon, Toron Boyd, and Michael Archie and, a daughter; Francheon Boyer, and a host nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is predeceased by a brother; Henry and two sisters; Mary and Emma. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
