uncle Len, a year already!?! I spent the week thinking about what you would say if you were here. You, who were bigger than life, You were interested in everything and everyone. We who knew you, knew you to have an opinion on..everyone and everything!!(smile0 What would you tell us, now after a year with Jesus? You, who knew the depths of pain... more so than most people. How would you describe the endless. astounding joy that is now yours. You will never be able to express that joy to us, but on some level we know... as much as we can know on this side of glory...and your joy is ours. We miss you, we love you and we give thanks that you are at home in the arms of our beloved Savior.

I was around eight or nine. We were at the house, dad must have been working nights. We were supposed to be in bed, but my brothers and I were cutting up and running around up stairs. So mom sent you up to "straighten" us out. So strap in hand, you entered my room first, you flipped on the light, I screamed, you shut off the light and got out of there and down those steps in a flash. We went to the top of the stairs, and I remember giggling, when I heard mom ask you if you took care of things. And your response was, "well didn't ya hear them scream?" I still chuckle when I think of that story. you big lug, you did not have the heart. How I wish I would have shared that story with you when I saw you at Christmas, no one enjoyed a funny story more than you, esp. when you get got. And you would have remembered, you always remember. How I enjoyed you. You would have loved this title...Got you, one last time. My dear uncle Leonard.

Uncle Leonard, What a great man you were. You were always able to put a smile on my face:) A dedicated Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother, Husband, Uncle and friend. To be honest You, Aunt Kathy, Gram and Pa are the reason Alyssa, Andy and I exist today and I could not be happier to be apart of a wonderful, loving and caring family. You will never be forgotten. I love you <3
