Obituary of Carol Ratzman

Carol Ann Ratzman 73 of Belvidere, NJ died Tuesday February 14, 2017 in St Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem PA. She was born in Rahway, NJ March 21, 1943. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Harrison Sonnenberg. Carol had worked as a Bookkeeper for the former Warren Lumber company in Washington NJ.  She was a graduate of Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ and attained an Associate’s degree from Newark State College (Kean). She belonged to the Delaware Presbyterian Church in Knowlton Twp. where she was an active ruling elder of the session.  She previously belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Roselle NJ.  Carol was also active with the Knowlton Twp. Seniors. Her loving husband of 51 years, Alvin “Buzz” Ratzman preceded her in death in 2016. Surviving are sons Kenneth and wife Allison of Lawrenceville NJ, Gregory and wife Mary Kay of Washington Twp. PA.; daughter Pamela Ratzman of Belvidere, NJ and four grandchildren, Kinsey, Alexander, Brianna, and Hannah. Memorial Services will be held Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Delaware Presbyterian Church located at 9 Clarence Road, Delaware, NJ 07833.  Immediately following the services, the family invites everyone to join them for food and fellowship in Fellowship Hall at the church.
