Obituary of Robert W Hansen

Robert W. Hansen 64 of Hampton NJ died Wednesday October 25th in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington NJ.

He was born in New Brunswick NJ June 15, 1953. He was the son of the late Robert Hansen and Grace Baron Hansen Delorenzo of Millstone WV.

Robert, a 1971 graduate of Delaware Valley High School, was a Self-employed Heavy Equipment Operator.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the ocean in Wildwood NJ and Virginia Beach VA. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Robert loved car shows and tinkering with cars. Mostly, he enjoyed running heavy equipment, it was like the machines were extensions of his arms and hands.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife and best friend of over 40 years Lee Vatter Hansen, a son, Bobby Hansen of Hampton NJ; two daughters, Heather Burd and Nicole Hansen both of Hampton NJ; an uncle Henry "Buck" Hansen, an aunt Gail Hansen; a step-father Edward Delorenzo, a brother, John Hansen, three sisters, Gaila, Lynn and Debbie; and his loving grandchildren, Shawn, Damion, Braiden, Connor, Kaiden, Corinne and Carter.

A Celebration of Life welcoming all that knew him and his family members will be held at the Glen Gardner VFW on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 3-6pm.
