Obituary of Margaret DeVries
Margaret R. DeVries, 88 of Phillipsburg, New Jersey formerly of Washington died November 16th at Warren Hospital.
She was born in Oxford, New Jersey on February 16, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Charles Somogyi and Cecelia Veg Somogyi.
Before retiring Margaret was employed by Bates Maunfacturing.
Margaret is predeased by her husband John H. DeVries in 1971. Survivors include a son; Jake DeVries of Mansfield Township, two daughters; Cecelia ""NOOK"" Wiseburn of Easton, PA and Helen Cravener of Bangor, PA , a sister, Mary Ferguson of Rome, PA, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also predeased by a grandchild. three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, New Jersey. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Musconetong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, New Jersey. Online condolences may be expressed at www.devoefuneral.com
