I was a student of Marcellus C. Kuhn at Plymouth Whitemarsh Jr/Sr High School in Plymouth Meeting, PA during 1954 to 1960. I remember singing a lot of religious literature. One of my favorites was/is "Bless Thou The LORD Oh My Soul" by Ivanoff, an a cappella anthem. I played my cornet at the Episcopal church at which he was organist and sang with an ensemble he conducted at John Wanamaker, sometime in the mid 1950s. Mr. Kuhn certainly inspired me and enriched my high school experience. I have thought of him with fondness often.
